Gladiators nominated for award
Chester Gladiators have been nominated for the 2008 Club of the Year award by their fellow Impact Sports RL Merit League clubs. The award will be presented on Sunday 17th August at the competitions Finals day.

The 2008 Impact Sports RL Merit League Finals take place this Sunday 17th August. The event is being hosted by Leeds Akkies and matches will be played at The Sycamores, Bramhope.

The Shield Final kicks off at 12.30 PM and will be contested by Sheffield Forgers, who defeated the Gladiators 38-10 earlier this season, and Nottingham Outlaws.

This match will be followed by the Grand Final between Wigan Riversiders and Moorends-Thorne Marauders which kicks off at 3.00 PM.

Admission on the day costs £1.50 which included a programme.
